FCT Celebrates 10 Millionth Policy and Launches FCT.ca

OAKVILLE, ONTARIO, October 18, 2012 – FCT, the market leader in title Insurance and real-estaterelated products, celebrates its 10 millionth policy and ongoing commitment to excellence by launching its newly revamped website.

Visitors can now gain a more comprehensive understanding of FCT and its unique products and services, in a more modern and user-friendly format. The new website will provide an industry-leading resource for information regarding title insurance, mortgage-document processing and default solutions, as well as a convenient online means for ordering policies.

What’s more, in upholding FCT’s mission to make financial transactions simple and secure, the new site will ultimately serve as a basis for gathering input from FCT customers, and eventually expand into a forum for professionals involved in real-estate-related services to share best practices.

Commenting on the new site, Michael LeBlanc, FCT Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer, describes it as “much more than a redesign.” “This web project required a major rethink of how FCT could better support its clients and the industry as a whole.”

FCT called upon Forge Media + Design to undertake the new design. FCT.ca now boasts a contemporary, colourful look and feel and its customer-driven approach provides users with more efficient access to the organization’s resources, which had previously been separated into several different websites. Immediately upon accessing the home page, users will be able to self-identify based on a set of customer profiles and then easily navigate through to the most relevant and timely information. The site also offers several new features such as a newsfeed and social media links.

StüssyTschudin, Principal, Forge Media + Design, identified the biggest challenge faced by the website design team: distilling the wealth of information available from FCT in a manner that would allow FCT’s diverse customer base to quickly identify the best path to the most relevant material. “We immediately recognized the wealth of expertise that FCT has and our challenge was to design a site that could deliver it in a comprehensive, yet streamlined format.”

At the same time as the launch of its new, streamlined website, FCT is celebrating its10 millionth insurance policy in Canada. Michael LeBlanc explains, “The fact that our customers have chosen FCT 10 million times over the past 20 years has highlighted the need for us to continue to be leaders in everything we do. This new website is yet another example of our commitment to excellence and to leadership in this industry.”
