FCT Promotes Eric Haslett to Lead Commercial Solutions Division

OAKVILLE, ONTARIO, February 11, 2020 – FCT, the national leader in real estate technology, today announced that Eric Haslett has been promoted to vice president of commercial solutions. In his new role, Eric will be responsible for leading FCT’s Commercial Solutions Division, including overseeing product development and operations.

“Eric has been with FCT for nearly 20 years and has continuously impressed us with his customer focus, strong understanding of the business and ability to produce results,” said Michael LeBlanc, CEO of FCT. “In addition to impressing the FCT team, he has established a strong rapport and deep relationships with our commercial customers. We are confident that Eric’s skillset and his new role will strengthen FCT’s position as a leader in the commercial real estate title insurance industry and we welcome him to our executive team.”

Haslett joined FCT in 2001 as national commercial counsel, and in 2004, was appointed to the role of assistant vice president, commercial division, where he spearheaded all commercial title insurance initiatives. In 2009, Haslett became assistant vice president, corporate underwriting, where he enhanced FCT’s reputation for creative and innovative insurance solutions. The experience gained from his previous roles paved the way for his appointment to chief underwriter and subsequent promotion to vice president, legal and claims in 2011, and then to chief revenue officer, commercial in 2017. This experience will be critical as he steps into his new role leading the Commercial Solutions Division.
