For the sixth year, FCT is lacing up and hitting the ice to make a difference! We’re proud to kick off our fundraising drive for the 2025 Hockey Helps the Homeless tournament, reinforcing our commitment to creating positive change in our communities. Supporting this cause is more than just a game—it’s an investment in a future where at-risk youth have access to the resources and support they need to thrive.
Hockey Helps the Homeless is a charity that raises funds to support those experiencing homelessness. FCT has participated in the tournament since 2019, with employees embracing an event that aligns with their values and passion for making an impact.
“It’s great seeing how this event brings our colleagues together,” said Darren Nath, Director of programs, human resources at FCT. “We’re committed at FCT to making an impact in our community, and that commitment carries through the entire team. Hockey Helps the Homeless shows exactly what the people here are all about: collaborating, innovating and going above and beyond to get results.”
Employer-matched fundraising efforts supporting Hockey Helps the Homeless have raised over $214,000 so far. Those funds go to FCT’s community partners across Canada, who provide direct aid and social support to at-risk youth, and young people experiencing homelessness.
With a renewed spirit of community and support, employee teams are determined to push that number even higher. FCT is committed to supporting these efforts, and to supporting youth in our community. Together, they’ll make a real impact in the lives of those who need it most.
