This Thanksgiving, FCT employees across Canada came together to make a meaningful difference in their communities. Through our “Gather & Give” Food Drive, we turned compassion into action — collecting, packing, and donating essential items to support vulnerable youth across the country.
On Oct. 9, teams from coast to coast rolled up their sleeves to sort and count donations gathered throughout the campaign. The energy was high, the teamwork was seamless, and the impact was real. From canned goods to baby essentials, every item packed was a reflection of our shared commitment to helping others.
In total, we donated over 1,800 items to our partner organizations, across Canada:
Ontario
360ºkids: Supporting at-risk youth with housing, counseling, and employment resources.
Oasis Youth Care: Providing a safe haven and vital services for vulnerable youth.
British Columbia
Covenant House: Offering shelter, food, and support programs for homeless and at-risk youth in Vancouver.
Nova Scotia
Laing House: Creating a supportive community for youth living with mental health challenges.
Alberta
Wood’s Homes: Providing mental health services, crisis support, and outreach to children, youth, and families in need.
Quebec
Dans La Rue: Offering emergency shelter, meals, and long-term support for homeless and marginalized youth in Montreal.
New Brunswick
Youth Impact Jeunesse: Helping youth overcome barriers by providing housing, counseling, and life skills programs.
These donations to our charity partners nationwide represent a collective testament to what’s possible when people come together with purpose.
A culture of community
At FCT, giving back isn’t just something we do — it’s part of who we are. Our culture is built on values like empathy, collaboration, and service. Whether through national campaigns like this one or individual acts of kindness, we believe in supporting the communities where we live and work.
The Thanksgiving Food Drive is one of many ways we empower our people to make a difference. Through our Volunteer Day Program, FCT employees are encouraged to take up to 15 paid hours each year to support causes close to their hearts — because we know that when our people thrive, our communities do too.
Thank you
To everyone who donated, volunteered, or helped spread the word — thank you. Your generosity helped brighten the season for youth in need, and your spirit of giving continues to inspire.
We’re proud of what we accomplished together, and we look forward to continuing this momentum in future initiatives.
